Monday 11th May…..

Well, thats us all home safely. Been a long day, but boys coped very well with all the travelling, no moans or complaints. Its been a great experience for us all, and I think the boys have gained an awful lot out of this trip. Its been a very ‘full’ trip, not much spare time but its been great fun.

Personally, its the best trip I have ever been involved in. The main reason for this was the lads who were participating. They really are a pleasure to take away, no problem at all, any of them.  It makes the months of fundraising, organising and planning worth while. I know I have said it before but they are a credit to you, and you should be very proud of them. Also could I say a big thank you to the parents who came along and helped, and at times entertained!!!!

We will be doing a presentation this weekend of all photos and videos from the trip, this will be presented by the boys. Once organised I will be in touch to let you know times and venue

Once in a lifetime trip????……. you never know!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers

Graham

  1. Wonderful trip with kids, coaches and parents. Kids were great and all were a credit to the Island of Islay. I’m sure they will use and develop all the skills that were taught over the course of the training school trip. Only disappointment for “The Cat” was that he did not witness the klinsman incident, and that it was not caught on camera (or was it???).
Many thanks to the coaching staff, who worked tirelessly over the last 6 months organising the trip and keeping us informed.
Thanks to the parents who accompanied “The Cat”-don’t worry Islay might get a bowling alley one day.
Finally a big thank you to all the children who made it all worthwhile and I’m sure have come home with some amazing lifetime memories.

  2. I was lucky enough to be the person who had a lot to do with putting the tour together for Islay boys club. I have worked with thousands of players and coaches over the years and can honestly say that Graham Brown was a pleasure do deal with from first contact over a year ago.

Unfortunetley I was not able to be in Valencia with the group, however the feedback I have received from the club, hotel and even the airline operator has been second to none!

I would just like to thank all at Islay Boys Club and a special thankyou to Graham. You guys are welcome at any of our clubs in future.

Look forward to seeing you at the Valencia summer camps in Glasgow this July!!

    Best wishes

  3. Hello amigos!!

This trip has been a fantastic experience for the boys.

I can only say I felt a bit sorry for shooting to them at Laser Quest. I always win.

I hope I see you soon in Glasgow or Valencia next year !!
